How can you help?

At DataLeaders.org, we’re tackling projects that involve significant data challenges, and we’re looking for passionate individuals who can bring their expertise to our team. If you have a background in data analysis, data science, engineering, or any related field and are excited about turning data into impactful insights, we invite you to join us.
Our projects require a collaborative approach, and while the time commitment varies depending on the project’s needs, we typically expect a few hours per week. Whether you’re looking to expand your skills, network with other professionals, or contribute to innovative solutions, your involvement can make a real difference.
If you believe you can add value to our team and help us push these initiatives forward, we would love to hear from you!

AI and Data Stakeholders.

Project Lead: Mark Cooper
Project team: Danette McGilvray, Theresa Kushner, Gabriel Rus, Andrew Andrews, Laura Sebastian-Coleman, Peter Worthington-Eyre

Objective:

AI is changing the data profession in practical, immediate ways – reshaping roles, workflows, deliverables and the skills organizations need from data people.

This project brings together data professionals, AI practitioners, business leaders and other stakeholders to explore what these changes mean and how we should respond. Rather than focusing on hype, automation or job replacement, we will examine the real adjustments needed across governance, quality, metadata, stewardship, analytics and delivery practices.

We are seeking collaborators to help create practical, grounded guidance for the profession. Your experience and perspective will help shape a shared understanding of how data roles are evolving, what capabilities matter next, and how organizations can transition successfully in an AI-enabled future.

Project team: Volunteer translators and reviewers

Objective: We support the promotion and dissemination of The Leader’s Data Manifesto to the broader data and business communities around the world by translating the Manifesto into as many languages as possible. Data is a worldwide issue and having the Manifesto available in many  languages makes these ideas more accessible. We rely on volunteers to translate and review each language to ensure accuracy of the translation.
